After travelling, Noa accepted a teaching position at the Cultural Arts Center of Columbus, Ohio. With over 60 students per session, the course covered various techniques of metalsmithing. She then refined her bench skills working under an incredible goldsmith while studying Gemology, earning her Graduate Gemology degree from the Gemological Institute of America before moving back to Mexico permanently.
Noa finds Holbox the ideal place to live and is inspired daily by the natural beauty of Holbox and the Yucatan Peninsula. Her designs are simple yet beautiful, much like everyday life on Holbox Island. Most of the jewelry making up the marine collections are direct reproductions from the marine life found on the beach throughout the year, made into molds and cast in silver and gold using the lost wax casting technique.
When not in her workshop, Noa can be found running after her two young sons, fishing with her husband, or walking the beach looking for the next treasure to become part of her collection.
