Bird Island is a small mangrove & cactus covered islet located in the Yalahau lagoon, it is the home to a great diversity of bird species, some which are endangered; Therefore there is bird-watching tower with walkways in order to minimize direct contact with these fabulous birds, but still gaze yourself with this breathtaking natural wonder. You can observe and photograph the birds without disturbing them.

Throughout the different seasons, you can spot: Flamingoes, cormorants, herons, frigates, pelicans, wild ducks, seagulls, and several varieties of Egrets amongst many other bird species in their natural habitat.
